Where every interaction comes from. The like, the reply box, the claim reaction, the caption scrub, the highlight in a margin: none of these live inside Warp or Weft. They are Bight knots, each one tying a reader’s action into the conversation graph, on contract. A bight, in rope work, is the loop you tie without cutting the line, and that is the design: connect the reader to the exchange without hard-wiring the display to the behavior. Swap what people can do without touching what they see.
| Aspect | Detail |
|---|---|
Role | Interaction. The knot that ties reader actions into the conversation graph. |
Affordances | The like, the reply box, the claim reaction, the caption scrub, the margin highlight. None live in Warp or Weft. |
Design | A bight is the loop you tie without cutting the line: connect the reader without hard-wiring display to behavior. |
Live engines | The same knot ties interfaces to live engines. A scorecard bound to Radiance updates a force reading as the writer types. |
